• 1978 Hunter Riddle joins the company
• 1980 First addition to the shop 3,500 square-feet

• 1983 First Mylar sail
• 1987 First Kevlar sail
• 1988 First computer plotted sail
• 1989 Second addition to the building 4,750 square-feet
• 1993 First computer cut sail
• 1995 Third Addition to the building - 6,000 square feet
• 1997 First Pentex Sail
• 1998 Hunter Riddle and Steve Bellows purchase Schurr Sails
• 1999 Upgrade sail design software to the ultimate SMSW6 system
• 2001 First Carbon Fiber sail
• 2004 First Ultra Bond Glued sail
• 2006 Upgrade sail cutting system to the 72" Carlson CT System
• 2007 Hunter Riddle becomes the sole owner of Schurr Sails
